Links with Domestic and International Organizations

Since the Water Center started up operations, it has established several links with cooperation organizations and other international institutions by signing and starting up cooperation covenants.

These agreements have reinforced the Center’s abilities regarding international activities, such as organizing workshops, courses, seminars and developing research lines on water issues and soil preservation in arid zones.

Among the agreements subscribed, the following are worth highlighting:

• UFZ , Germany
• University of Leipzig, Germany
• University of Bochum, Germany
• University of Ben-Gurion and the Institute for Water Sciences and Technologies (IWST), in Israel
• University of Ghent in Flanders, Belgium
• Universidad Nacional Experimental “Francisco de Miranda”, Venezuela
• Universidad Nacional del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina
• Postgraduate College of Mexico
• University of Waterloo in Canada (In process)
• Mexican Water Technology Institute (In process).
• United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (In process)
