Since 2004 CAZALAC started a series of research projects regarding degradation of semi-arid soils and the technical evaluation of catching water and soil to combat desertification. Several pre and post grade students have prepared their degree projects under the supervision of Professor Dr. Eng. D. Gabriels and the responsibility of Eng.
